We have owned Ice for over a year and she has been a fanatic horse for us. We have done everything with her from all the ranch work, to trail riding, reining, English, mounted shooting, rode in town and more. She has an excellent handle, gentle and kind making her a favorite on the ranch. Ice is friendly and in-your-pocket but very respectful and has tons of ground manors. She is easy to catch and will happily put her head in the halter for you. Ice is an NRHA money earner giving her all the handle you would want, soft in the bridle, moves well off your seat and legs, excellent flying lead changes, sliding stops and spins. She is super smooth to ride at all gaits and is easy to ride making her great for the novice or short stirrup rider. Not only is she great in the arena but she has tons of experience riding outside. She is super handy for any ranch job and has seen miles in the mountains in rough and rocky terrain. She will cross anything thick brush to rivers and teeter-totters. She will work a gate and know where to put her feet making her sure footed. Ice has been used all over the ranch to gather, sort, brand and ship. She is ready to haul for the mounted shooting and she would work for any level of shooter as she will slow lope for the beginner but has the speed and handle to win for the advanced shooter. We loaned her out at Road to the Horse 2024 for the introduction of the trainers and for horsemanship demos. She was never bothered by the crowd, speakers or commotion. She loads in and backs out of the trailer, hauls well and travels good. Ice takes time off well, just saddle her up and go. No warm up or silliness. She is happy in a stall or turned out with a herd. She gets along well with other horses. Ice is good for the farrier and vet. She is up to date on worming, vaccinations, dental and farrier. She comes with compete vet and dental records.
