Excellent head horse prospect with the ability to really handle a steer. This gelding has great bone and size to make an outstanding rope horse, wearing a #1 shoe all the way around, standing 15.3HH. I started him as a 2-year-old with extensive ground work. He’s fancy broke and low-headed. He stays gentle even when left off for long periods of time. I’ve started him nice and slow on the head side, scores really well, and is easy to rope on. He has a lot of rate, a nice move out of the corner, and faces well. He’s a lot of fun to ride and has a lot of feel. Smaug is very trainable and easy to be around. He is good minded and gentle with a huge hip, pretty head, and built to last. Smaug has been rode outside a lot and nothing bothers him. This horse has a gorgeous lope with a huge stop. He is broke in every way and has a big future ahead of him.
