Hickory is a stout made son of Bet Hesa Cat that has been used for all aspects of ranch work, to start colts in the round pen, and used in the arena as well. He has drug and roped countless head of cattle outside and calves in the branding pen. Hickory is stout to the horn and will take a jerk like a horse twice his size from any cow or colt on the end of the rope he’s holding. In the arena he has been hauled to NCHA cuttings in Texas and used as a turn back horse and has been heeled on as well.
