14.3 hands buttermilk buckskin gelding. Tux has been competed on in the heeling at the South Dakota High School Rodeos. He is used as a practice breakaway roping horse and used on the Smarty at home. Tux is super broke and I can do most anything on him. I have ridden him all over the trails of the Black Hills, roped calves all day in the branding pen, ranched on him, tied down calves in the pasture to doctor them, and loped the barrels. When I haul him, he is gentleman at the trailer, he doesn’t spook at new sites, and he takes care of himself so he doesn’t get hurt. Tux likes people and is easy to catch, gentle, and he really likes baths. He doesn’t require a lot of riding because he works the same every day whether he is ridden daily or monthly. He requires zero maintenance. I have owned Tux since he was four years old. I am done rodeoing, am in college, and Tux is just too nice to not be used. VIDEO: Contact Seller.
