This mare has been a good producer for us and it is easy to see why. She is a big black Easy Jet bred mare with a lot of leg and a deep cinch. Her full sister “Missy” was one of the mares that Tenley Epperson campaigned in college. We acquired her from Tenley and she carries her family’s brand. Sweetie has a daughter in our broodmare band and has produced several good foals for our sale; including a blue roan filly that went to Jerry Brewer and a sorrel colt that was one of my favorites who now lives with the Blace Martin family in Wyoming. “Sweetie” has a little arthritis due to a rattlesnake bite, but it doesn’t bother her very much.
