Amigo is a stunning dark bay gelding standing at 15.1 h. This versatile gelding is finished on both ends but truly excels on the heading side. Whether you’re roping your first steer or are an experienced roper, he runs hard and flat, stands quite in the box, and pulls hard. He is extremely gentle and can be roped on by experienced ropers and beginners alike. He never has box issues and will never be outran. He has been hauled to many roping’s and different arenas and would be a great horse for the whole family. Not only does Amigo shine in the arena, but he is also extremely reliable outside as well. We have used him to move cattle, brand calves, rope bulls, pack and everything in between. He is handy enough to rope a bull, but also gentle enough for our 7-year-old daughter to ride him in the arena and mountains. He has a great disposition and even with time off is the same horse every time you ride him. He is the type of horse you can take to a high number jackpot, put your beginner roper on, or take on a 15-mile pack trip and he will excel in every category. We have also used him to pack flags at PRCA rodeos, he has been patterned on the barrels and has been used by everyone in our family. Amigo truly is a one-of-a-kind horse. He has a small foggy spot on his left eye and flat brow bone from a previous injury, but it does not affect his soundness or performance.
