Ranch and trail gelding. He is super friendly and easy to catch. He will watch a cow and I have moved cows with him many times. He has been ridden in the backcountry and spent a lot of time in wilderness camps. I am 75 and have ridden him everywhere alone or in company. Badger will easily cross creeks, bogs, and logs. I have drug firewood in to camp with him. He will load in a two horse or any trailer with no problem. Badger has good solid feet and is easy to shoe. He stands perfectly to get on and off. He has a good back to hold the saddle. Badger has never bucked, bit, kicked, reared, or pulled back. He is lower in the herd and gets along with geldings, mules, or mares.
