Captain is the embodiment of the old style, working type Morgan, well-built and stout with deep bone and strong shoulders. He is quiet, gentle, and kind with a good mind. He has good hard feet and is easy to shoe. He has been used in all aspects of ranch work; been roped on, drug calves at brandings, doctored cows on the range and covered country. He is hobble broke and loads well. Doesn’t mind the clippers, and had his teeth floated in November of 2024. He has been around dogs and chickens but won’t put up with nonsense from dogs! His sire is Dream Catcher Don Juan, who place in the 2019 National Championship and Year End High Point Award through the Oregon Morgan Association in Reining and Ranch. He placed 3rd in the National Morgan Reining Association Working Western Versatility Championship Open Division and was Top Ten in Ranch at Morgan National Finals.
