Duke is a stout, flashy gelding. Well broke, loads and unloads, stands for farrier, baths, and clips. He will be a little fresh and out of shape as hasn’t been rode in a little over a year due to rider being pregnant. Has been mostly used as a trail horse. Was shown in his early years. Has been camping/trail riding in Medora, Black Hills and Maplewood State Park, MN and around the farm. He has been ridden in various horsemanship clinics including Elsabe Hausauer, Josh Lyons, Kevin Vesey. Was shown as a 2 year old at Dakota 50/50 futurity. Walk/trot/lopes, knows his leads and sidepass maneuvers. Will ride on own or in a group but when riding in group, he prefers to be in front/good leader. He is top of pecking order.
