Aha! is the ideal trail horse, smooth, loves people, friendly, alert and willing but gentle. No buck. No bolt. Easy to shoe, haul and stands after mounting. He’ll meet you at the gate, and if you tap his front shoulder and ask to shake his hand, he’ll politely raise his leg for you. He’s had extensive work with crossing tarps, dealing with bull whips, obstacle courses, jumps happily over small jumps and has had an introduction to mounted archery. He’s lived in a pasture filled with turkeys running under him, lions walking past him, snakes rattling at him and deer jumping out in front of him. Unfazed. Prefers a noseband or bosal over a bit.
