SMURF – 2020 GRADE Blue Roan Paint Crossbred Gelding.

Smurf is a very flashy and gentle 5 year old paint gelding that’s up for any task you throw at him. This gelding has been used all over the ranch and stockyards. He’s sound, sane, and handy as a pocket on a shirt. He stands 14.3 hands tall, wears a number one shoe, and weighs around 1100 lbs. Smurf has gathered cattle out of big country, sorted cattle, ran a tub and alley, drug calves to the fire, and just about anything else you can think of. He gets gates well, and is really handy in a corral/stockyard setting. He has a smooth one hand neck rein and smooth in all his gaits. Smurf will go out and put in a days work, then come home and lope pretty circles in the arena. He’ll also go on long trail rides and ride over and through anything you point him to. Husker is a powerhouse ranch gelding ready for any job that you have for him. He has done an extended amount of all aspects of ranch work as well as some arena work. He doesn’t require a lot of riding because he works the same every day whether he is ridden daily or monthly. He requires zero maintenance. LEROY – 2017 GRADE Black Clydesdale QH Cross Gelding

Leroy is a really flashy well put together 8 year old Clyde cross gelding we have used for all ranch chores. Leroy is super gentle on the ground and will meet you at the gate to be caught. If there’s a ranch job that needs done Leroy’s done it. We’ve used him to drag a bunch of calves in the spring, treated 100’s of yearlings on grass and used him in the feedlot all fall and winter. Leroy is the same horse with time off, has never offered to buck or any funny business. We’ve also had Leroy in the mountains, he’s sure-footed and will cross anything you point him at. Leroy’s got a motor but he’s the kind that will fit a lot of people and the dudes would get by with no worries. Leroy is stout made with 3 chrome wheels that has never taken a lame step and is built to stand the test of time. Good to catch, stands tied, and saddles quiet every day. This team is well started and has been driven along the road with traffic, pulled a caboose in -30 weather, hauled bales to feed horses and been in sleigh rides with other teams. They have never hesitated on pulling any wagon or any sleigh that I have hooked them to. Dusty was a very late colt born in Sept 2023. He’s gentle with 8 rides on him as of today (1/16/25) but weather permitting he’ll have 30 by sale day. He’s been ridden down the road and traffic doesn’t bother him. We introduced him to the heelOmatic today and he took right to it and he was raised around cattle so no issues there. If he has a fault it’s he’s almost too gentle. He’s easy to be around and he’s still a baby so he has had no hard (using) days but you can saddle him up step on him and walk right off.
